One suggestion I would make to Baruch College for new media would be to have a place where students can compile all their questions and comments about school. Currently, the school uses Facebook groups sorted by class year and students unofficially use other Facebook groups such as Buy and Selling Textbooks as platforms to ask the general and specific questions such as professor recommendations, club meetings, and finding textbooks. I would recommend a website where students can post such questions and then these questions can be easily answered and later found by future students. This website would also be useful to communicate to students many things like when the school is closed, classes are cancelled, and upcoming social events.
This is a great because I do find this information helpful and they should make it readily available to us via a website. I usually follow Baruch College , the Registrar, Starr, etc. on social media and that is how I get information about closures, events, etc.
